About The Position
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support our U.S. finance operations. This role will be responsible for reviewing expense reports, maintaining accounts payable and fixed assets as well as supporting day-to-day accounting and reconciliation activities. This roll will be integral to the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with accounting, and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a U.S. GAAP based company.
- Familiarity with NetSuite
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to cost accounting or expense allocation practices.
- Understanding of equity or bonus compensation accounting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, prepaid transactions, and month-end close tasks.
- Responsible for accounts payable, expensify, and fixed assets.
- Support AP reconciliations and the AP run process
- Monitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls over AP and fixed asset accounting.
- Identify and propose improvements to streamline processes.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
