About The Position

OneMain Financial is seeking a dynamic and driven finance professional to join its accounting team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Staff Accountant supporting the OneMain Solutions Investment accounting and finance organization. The position is responsible for reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis and research of accounts and balances. It follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent business or accounting experience.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting and GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Investment experience.
• Investment statutory accounting knowledge.
• Experience with Clearwater Analytics and OneStream.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger and custody account reconciliations.
• Research and analyze account balances and transactions.
• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Provide support for SOX, statutory, and SEC reporting.
• Review investment transactions.
• Participate in ad hoc investment projects as needed.
