Responsibilities The Accountant is responsible for maintaining a log of all journal entries and preparing the majority of the journal entries in the general ledger. Responsible for reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Is responsible for the calculating and reconciling depreciation of all the fixed assets accounts. The Accountant is responsible for preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basis. Prepares annual work papers for year-end audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of windows based personal computers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years of hospital/healthcare accounting/finance experience
  • Proficient in business software applications
  • Full cycle accounting experience

  • A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $70,304.00 to $97,760.00 on an annualized basis.
  • The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
