Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field highly preferred. May substitute years of experience for education.
  • To successfully complete the provided PPCH required training
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll administration or a related field.
  • Must be experienced and comfortable with HRIS / payroll systems. Experience with ADP preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in accounting including invoices, journal entries, account reconciliations, deposits and payments.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, accounting principles and best practices.
  • Proficient skill with HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ADP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the biweekly payroll.
  • Provides support to employees, managers, and other internal or external entities with payroll- related inquiries and transactions.
  • Reviews and analyzes employee information, HRIS and payroll changes, time and attendance, PTO, employee deductions and reimbursements to maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Provides information and answers questions regarding payroll and wage verifications.
  • Maintains financial security and confidentiality of information.
  • Acts as a back-up to the Contract Administrator in processing accurate and timely independent contractor reimbursements and payments as needed.
  • Processes employee mileage and other reimbursements.
  • Ensures exiting employees are terminated in ADP.
  • Contributes to a culture where staff and customers are respected, valued, and encouraged.
