We are seeking an Accountant to join our growing team. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
Minimum of 5 years of governmental accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with query languages
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
CPA certification or active progress toward certification
TS/SCI w/ poly

Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports and conduct analysis to support project management and business decision-making.
Manage project billing, perform account reconciliations, apply cash payments to accounts receivable, and maintain the company's cash book.
Execute month-end close procedures, including posting journal entries, calculating revenue, and performing accruals.
Provide general accounting support and utilize an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for data input and extraction.
Ensure strict compliance with both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and specialized government regulations like the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Meticulously document all financial transactions.
