Accountant – US Entity / Global Finance Operations (m/w/d)

About The Position

Maltego US Fed is scaling, and our US finance operations need a hands-on accounting professional to own the day-to-day accounting activities for the US entity.

You will be responsible for executing and improving defined accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial data, and supporting a timely month-end closing. You will work closely with the global finance team to ensure a clean audit trail and scalable finance operations across a multi-entity SaaS organization.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 – 4 years of accounting experience in a US‑based environment
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite is a plus) and MS Excel
• Knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus
• Experience supporting accounting in a multi‑entity and/or international SaaS environment
• Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• IFRS experience is a plus
• Proficiency in NetSuite

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day US accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations in NetSuite
• Perform an accurate and timely month‑end close in NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal controls
• Manage and review AP/AR processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, expense reporting, and aging reviews
• Support internal and external audits by preparing reports
• Partner with the Finance team on ad‑hoc GL tasks and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
