About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Level 3 in Newark, NJ. This role requires accounting investment experience, preferably in bond accounting and fixed income products. The ideal candidate will have experience with PAM or any other accounting system and a minimum of 6 years of experience. This position involves direct supervision of a small team of 3-6 personnel and requires the ability to operate autonomously. The role assists in conducting accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and funds, including driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, performing specialist review functions, allocating expenses, and preparing reports. A Degree in Accounting is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience.
- Ability to manage a small team of 3-6 personnel and operate autonomously.
- Degree in Accounting is required.
- Must be familiar with Oracle.
Nice To Haves
- Accounting investment experience preferred in bond accounting, fixed income products.
- Nice to have experience with PAM or any other accounting system.
Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of team members.
- Identify, implement, and perform key controls.
- Provide support to business partners and key stakeholders.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Thorough understanding of accounting related to investment activity in the PAM or any other accounting systems.
- Responsible for ensuring trade activity.
- Review of monthly requests for our various business partners across the company.
- Independently prioritize and lead various project work.
