About The Position

This role prepares internal financial statements and assists with the schedules and footnotes needed to complete the annual audited financial statements. It interprets and implements GAAP and provides advanced analytical, financial, accounting, and compliance support to the department and leadership. The position is the highest accounting level prior to manager and requires extensive accounting experience and judgment in interpreting authoritative guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal financial statements.
• Assist in preparing schedules and footnotes for the annual audited financial statements.
• Interpret and implement GAAP.
• Provide advanced analytical, financial, accounting, and compliance support to the department and leadership.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Review work performed by other accounting roles as necessary.
• Supervise process flow and month-end close activities.
