About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing team at LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. in Arizona. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level accounting professional seeking continued growth and development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Accountant II, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and perform analysis based on financial results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
3–5+ years of professional accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Sound judgment and decision-making ability
Strong problem-solving skills
High attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with SAP preferred
Bilingual English/Korean preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review journal entries
Support preparation of tax filings and other regulatory compliance reports
Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support
Analyze financial data and generate reports for management as needed
Assist in design and operating effectiveness testing of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Communicate with headquarters to fulfill reporting requirements and provide requested information
Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting and finance team
Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
