About The Position

Performs accounting and financial analysis in compliance with GAAP and internal company policies. Responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial information to support routine and special assignments. Interfaces with all levels of the organization to address financial questions, interpret results, explain variances, and support process improvements. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert by conducting training, testing, and continuous improvement within accounting functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP; month‑end and year‑end closing experience.
  • Broad experience collaborating cross‑functionally across levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and report financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
  • Strong time‑management skills in cyclical reporting environments.
  • Ability to simplify complex data for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Problem‑solving and process‑reengineering capability.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong coaching, mentorship, and leadership capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, automation).
  • High skill level in data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis via ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform period‑end closings, journal entries, and financial results analysis.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage capital expenditure accounting and reporting.
  • Assist with treasury tasks, including net working capital and cash flow analyses.
  • Complete audit requirements and support internal and external auditors.
  • Mentor and train Accountants on systems, reporting tools, financial processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in cross‑functional and companywide meetings.
  • Effectively communicate with Accounting, Operations, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Interact and partner with business leaders on forecasts, performance metrics, and operational initiatives.
  • Provide periodic and ad‑hoc reports and presentations that deliver insight into financial data.
  • Coordinate resolution of accounting/finance questions affecting operating results.
  • Identify accounting issues, research solutions, present conclusions, and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and monitor internal controls, accounting processes, and procedures.
  • Standardize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives across the organization.
