About The Position

Exemplis is seeking an Accountant I to record and report financial transactions, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, and analyze balances and transactions. This role offers an opportunity to build a strong accounting foundation in a fast-paced, build-to-order manufacturing environment. Recent college graduates eager to learn and develop their skills are welcome. Qualified candidates who require work authorization sponsorship are encouraged to apply; sponsorship may be available. The role is hybrid and requires onsite work three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Time management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and processes.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in public accounting, manufacturing, or e-commerce.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 and/or AX.
• CPA certification.
• Proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general journal entries and ensure transactions are posted accurately and promptly.
• Prepare intercompany journal entries between two companies.
• Support the month-end close process, including variance and trend analysis.
• Identify and resolve variances in account reconciliations.
• Prepare cash reports and reconcile daily banking activity and bank accounts.
• Prepare bank wires or ACH payments as needed.
• Assist with audit schedules and other requirements for external financial, tax, and physical inventory audits.
• Perform special projects as needed.
