Requirements

  • Four-year business degree required (preferably in accounting).
  • Two or more years accounting experience in a large organization with mainframe-based accounting.
  • Good theoretical and practical knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, record journal entries and complete reconciliations for corporate depository bank accounts, lockbox accounts, and other miscellaneous accounts.
  • Prepare weekly and periodic account reconciliations.
  • Research discrepancies with bank partners and other accounting teams.
  • Support team members on all accounting issues and account reconciliations.
  • Take the lead on projects requiring research, organization, communication, and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with teams to create process efficiencies.
  • Responsible for coordinating and ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Responsible for providing guidance to internal/external customers.
  • Create standard and adhoc reports utilizing various applications: SQL, Access, Excel, ODBC queries, Oracle.
  • Facilitate audits conducted by internal/external entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
