Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. AA, BA/ BS degree in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of Accounting experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and legal documents.
  • Analytical and detailed oriented.
  • Must possess basic accounting skills used in determining accruals and expense determination.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

  • Process property tax bills received from US and International municipalities.
  • Process property tax bills received from US and International landowners.
  • Address property tax inquiries from international SBA offices in a timely manner.
  • Assist with billing property taxes to customers.
  • Research delinquent tax matters and communicate findings to Tax Manager.
  • Assists prepare annual property tax returns.
  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.
  • Identify ways to gain efficiencies in processes, leverage technology and assist implementing changes.
  • Assist with gathering information for audits and work with external auditors.
  • Assist with sales and use tax reconciliation and filings
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
