About The Position

This position is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. The role involves organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information, as well as classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, and computers. The Accountant General will also prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, and complete period-end closing procedures and reports. Additionally, the role involves preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements, following up on past due accounts and vendor invoices, preparing daily consolidated deposits of cash, and documenting, maintaining, communicating, and acting upon all Cash Variances. The position also requires preparing, maintaining, and administering all cashier banks and contracts. The role also mandates adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Communication skills are essential, including speaking clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also key aspects of the role. Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also expected.

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
