Requirements

Accounting degree, accounting concentration, ACCA affiliation, CPA exam progress, or comparable general accounting experience required
Strong Excel, data, and systems skills, or clear interest and aptitude in developing those skills
Interest in technology, process improvement, and AI-assisted tools
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through
Ability to work with staff, residents, families, and visitors in a supportive and upbeat manner
Willingness to handle both accounting work and routine office duties

Nice To Haves

Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, cash activity, or financial close preferred

Responsibilities

Support monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Maintain accrual, prepaid, fixed-asset, bank, and other supporting schedules
Monitor cash balances and assist with banking activity
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash receipts, and audit preparation
Provide backup support for payroll, accounts payable, and reception when needed
Maintain organized finance office records, files, and documentation
Assist with Excel work, data cleanup, reporting, and process improvement projects
Perform related accounting and administrative duties as assigned
