About The Position

Pride Health is looking for an Accountant to support our client’s medical facility. This is a 100% remote, 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The pay range is $30 to $34 per hour on W2.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, with preference for concentration in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in a financial analysis or accounting function.
• Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to identify, scrutinize, improve, and streamline complex work processes.
• Ability to interpret financial data and operating metrics.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management inside and outside Finance.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or Public Administration (MPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support department leadership with Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Assist with Consolidated Billing processes.
• Process and manage expenses and reimbursements across multiple platforms.
• Maintain accurate financial files and records.
• Interpret financial data and operating metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership and other departments to support accounting operations.
