About The Position

We are looking for an experienced accountant to be responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of an organization. Their main duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. In order to excel in this position, you should have a solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes, as well as familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and laws. Our preferable candidate should have great mathematical, problem-solving, organizational, and writing skills. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and computer skills can also come in handy.

Requirements

• Experience with accounting software and data entry.
• Experience in Quickbooks Pro Online
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently
• Analytical skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a similar field
• Working experience as an Accountant or a similar position
• Proficient in QuickBooks Pro Online
• Experience in Financial reports
• Budgets, Revenue
• Minimum of 7 years experience in accounting
• Motivated self starter
• Solid knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles, processes, and regulations
• Experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
• Strong mathematical skills
• Writing and organization
• Accuracy and efficiency

• Experience in Acculynx preferred
• Experience in Job Costing

Responsibilities

• Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• To monitor all expenses from each vendor, to ensure correct pricing, pay invoices
• Close out and reconcile month end
