About The Position

Daifuku Airport America Corporation is seeking an experienced Accountant / Analyst II to provide general financial statement support. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Daifuku Airport America Corporation is a subsidiary of Daifuku North America, part of Daifuku, a global material handling company that engineers, manufactures, and services automated materials handling systems.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and quantitative competencies.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Intellectual agility and willingness to take on unfamiliar tasks.
• Clear and effective spoken and written communication, including when conveying complex information.
• Ability to express ideas concisely and in an organized manner.
• Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
• Dependable and trustworthy.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Knowledge of English language structure, vocabulary, spelling, composition, and grammar.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with accounting software.
• SAP knowledge and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete month-end closing and reconciliation.
• Provide monthly financial statements for the group company.
• Maintain account ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Investigate documentation to resolve account discrepancies.
• Complete daily filing.
• Provide general clerical support.
• Maintain confidential information.
