About The Position

The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a motivated Accountant I to join its Fiscal Services Department. The role works with both restricted and non-restricted accounts and supports multiple faculty and staff members. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and meet deadlines. The position is based at the Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is eligible for remote work. It is a regular, full-time, exempt staff position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Successful completion of at least 9 university-level accounting credit hours through intermediate accounting.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with restricted and non-restricted accounts.
