Requirements
- One year of professional accounting experience and graduation from a four year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting
- One year as a Fiscal Technician and 15 college credits in accounting
- Five years of bookkeeping experience and 15 college credits in accounting
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Able to perform essential job functions
- Pass a background investigation
- Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
Responsibilities
- Assist fiscal personnel prepare documents for external audits and perform internal program audits
- Participate in the development and monitoring of service contracts as well as the monitoring and auditing of contracted providers
- Assist with the reconciliation and monitoring of expenses, revenues, and accounts receivables, as well as the review of employee expenditure requests, vendor and provider invoices submitted for payment
- Help fiscal personnel prepare reports for submission to multiple funding sources and prepare the Schedule of Existing Federal Awards
- Ensure all work performed and reviewed complies with contractual agreements, county procedures, and regulatory requirements
