The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Administrative Project Manager NM to serve as the Accountable Manager (AM) for the Wastewater Capital Program (WWCP). This role involves overseeing and supporting the design and construction of WWCP projects for various wastewater resource recovery facilities (WRRFs), wastewater pumping stations, and Superfund CSO programs. The AM will direct the planning, design, and construction of major capital projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, milestones, scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities include managing consultant contracts, providing guidance to subordinates, ensuring environmental health and safety, coordinating with support divisions, communicating with stakeholders, resolving issues, mitigating risks, managing project quality, and monitoring key performance indicators. The position reports directly to the Deputy Portfolio Manager. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering design, construction, and wastewater operations, as well as excellent communication, technical, and computer skills.
