Account Supervisor

Public LabelNew York, CT
$100,000 - $120,000Remote

About The Position

Public Label is seeking an Account Supervisor to take end-to-end ownership of experiential events and programs in support of one of the leading spirit suppliers in the world. This role sits at the center of the business, accountable for the financial health of assigned programs, the strength of the client relationship, and the quality of execution in the field — and is trusted to run all three with minimal day-to-day oversight. This is a remote role built for someone who leads through delegation rather than direct control. You will not be on-site for every activation, which means your success depends on your ability to build strong systems, communicate clearly, set your team up to make good decisions in the moment, and stay closely tied to what's actually happening in the field even when you're not standing in it. You understand that events are inherently unpredictable, and you're comfortable adjusting a plan in real time without losing sight of the client's larger goals. With the nature of events, this role will require someone who is willing to work flexible hours to accommodate event success, meaning late nights and weekend work is common or even events that require travel. You will report directly to the Senior Account Director and act as a support for any incoming projects or programming need. Someone who can be handed a task, a market, or a problem and be counted on to see it through.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in experiential marketing, field marketing, or brand activation in an agency client-services role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own a project or account with limited oversight, from strategy through execution.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&L for activation or event-based programs.
  • Experience managing or mentoring direct reports, ideally in a remote or distributed team structure.
  • A strong understanding of the realities of live events
  • Comfortable making decisions under time pressure and adjusting plans on the fly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to manage senior client relationships.
  • Experience in alcohol, spirits, or beverage marketing required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple markets and priorities simultaneously.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and a professional home workspace.
  • Comfortable operating in a virtual-first environment while leading teams across multiple markets.
  • Ability to travel nationally as needed to support activations, trainings, and client meetings.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, aligned to activation and event calendars.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of assigned activation programs from planning through post-event wrap-up, with minimal supervision.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities across programs, and resolve issues before they require escalation.
  • Build and manage program timelines, ensuring all workstreams stay aligned and on schedule.
  • Know when to make the call independently and when to loop in leadership — and use good judgment to tell the difference.
  • Problem solve and have a keen eye for details
  • Own budget development, tracking, and reconciliation for assigned programs.
  • Manage program P&L, flagging variances and reforecasting as needed.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, staffing costs, and expense reporting.
  • Ensure programs are delivered on budget without compromising quality of execution.
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact, building trust through clear, consistent, and proactive communication.
  • Translate client objectives into actionable field and account plans.
  • Deliver regular reporting, recaps, and performance insights that connect field activity to program KPIs.
  • Manage client expectations in real time, especially when field conditions require a change of plan.
  • Support Market Managers and field teams across multiple markets, ensuring consistent brand standards and compliance.
  • Coach and develop direct reports to increase their own ownership and decision-making ability in the field.
  • Troubleshoot in-market issues remotely and provide clear, fast direction to field teams.
  • Travel on-site as needed to support high-priority activations, training, or client visibility moments.
  • Partner with logistics, recruitment, Event Management operations, and creative teams to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Represent the voice of the field internally, and the voice of the agency externally.
  • Support new business and organic growth conversations with client-ready materials and program insights.

Benefits

  • medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan, with employer 4% match
  • mental health and wellbeing support
  • Flexible Time Off Policy
  • Paid holidays, including agency soft close Christmas Eve-New Year's Day
