About The Position

The Account Specialist is a front-line customer service contact who is responsible for ensuring that the needs of an assigned group of customers are identified and addressed using specific account strategies.

Requirements

  • Associates degree and 2 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work independently with verbal or written instructions
  • Ability to work basic math calculations
  • PC experience; ability to use keyboard accurately and efficiently to enter data
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to develop an understanding of Indium products and services

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow current business by developing and nurturing current accounts
  • May actively seek and pursue new business opportunities
  • Address incoming telephone calls, faxes, emails and any other communication in a timely manner
  • Quote prices, lead times, credit terms to customer per established guidelines
  • Follow up on quotes to close business or to determine the reason an order will not close
  • Review and accept sales contracts including changes and expedites
  • Manage customer accounts receivables to ensure that customers can place and receive orders easily
  • Accurately enter necessary information into corporate databases
  • Demonstrate an understanding of products and services
  • Provide support to other Inside Sales team members as scheduled or as needed
  • Attend training as needed or assigned
  • Perform other duties or special project as assigned
