About The Position

Palmer Logistics, now part of H. Essers, is seeking skilled Account Specialists to join their customer service team. This role involves being the primary interface with customers, ensuring procedures are followed and customer requirements are met in order processing. The Account Specialist acts as an intermediary between the customer and warehouse operations, implementing best practices to support growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, customer-focused, and proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. The company, H. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
• Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
• Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
• Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient matter.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.
