About The Position

Staples Promotional Products, a division of Staples, is a national leader in the promotional products industry, helping customers build brand loyalty with customized merchandise solutions. This role involves managing all aspects of internal client support and serving as the primary internal interface for key stakeholders of an assigned customer account base, in partnership with field sales. The position is responsible for influencing profitability goals in line with company direction and driving the implementation and ongoing execution of client activities across all internal support departments.

Requirements

  • Ability to create an inclusive environment, encouraging strategic thought/planning/execution while holding support teams accountable to deliverables.
  • Clear direction and project management leadership to all support teams in implementing and managing solutions for assigned customers, providing appropriate and timely internal and external communications.
  • Global business acumen; navigates stakeholders and processes to drive decisions.
  • Basic knowledge of decoration methods and product capabilities; applying customer brand standards as applicable.
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in project management, merchandising, or related field.
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to travel (less than 10%), when necessary, based on accounts need.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field
  • Experience with building relationships within Fortune 100 company or large enterprise

Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of client program business in relationship to client budget and our service model.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Serve as the primary internal lead for assigned accounts, in partnership with field sales to drive client objectives.
  • Influence, analyze, and manage target expectations for margin as it relates to the client service model.
  • Influence, analyze, and manage assortments to achieve profitable SKU count measurements.
  • Utilize tools, data, and other resources to prepare and present client product selections.
  • Create marketing plans by analyzing and utilizing data to drive customer revenue.
  • Support site sale or tradeshow experiences utilizing and/or selling client branded merchandise.
  • Sustain global services knowledge and skillset and apply to account base as applicable.
  • Participate and provide input and ideas to support our ongoing effort to improve customer experience and retention.
