About The Position

Performs a variety of account servicing responsibilities for deposit accounts and customer records in accordance with requests and regulatory guidelines. Effectively communicate with internal and external customers while building and maintaining good working relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of banking experience focused on banking operations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with clear and professional communication
  • Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude, self-motivator
  • Above average organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task with an excellent degree of versatility and flexibility with prioritization of work
  • Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Work efficiently with Relationship Managers and Fiduciary Agents regarding Custodial accounts and product features.
  • Obtain all applicable documentation and customer information requirements ensuring accuracy while adhering to set-up standards and following applicable procedures.
  • Process all transactional requests for Custodial accounts including opening and closing of them, account maintenance as well as providing monthly statements on a timely basis.
  • Obtain all information required for state reporting to fulfill Date of Death information requests adhering to regulatory and internal procedures for completion deadlines.
  • Place holds and account access restrictions on Custodial and Deceased customer accounts to ensure appropriate protection of funds.
  • Process requests from other Business Teams that require deposit account restriction maintenance (escrow, fraud prevention, etc.).
  • Review and submit reciprocal deposit placements for FDIC insurance coverage for CDARs program by required timeframe.
  • Process necessary customer, general ledger and core system entries by account activities.
  • Ensure renewal notifications are processed prior to maturity for provision of funds.
  • Perform various quality control and support tasks such as but not limited to rate exceptions, card services, certificate maintenance and wire transfers.
