About The Position

The University of Nevada Athletics department is recruiting for an Account Representative. The Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) ticketing sales staff is responsible for building and strengthening customer relations, customer acquisition, and maximizing ticket sales and donations. Positions establish, maintain and enrich customer relations through managing daily inbound calls, email communication, online chat communication, and in-person meetings. Positions contribute to outbound sales effort as needed to maximize revenue, execute sales strategies and cultivate relationships. All ticketing sales staff are responsible for specific donor and season ticketholder accounts as it relates to customer service and sales.

Requirements

  • High School Graduation and four years of related work experience; OR Associate’s Degree and three years of related work experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR Master’s Degree and one year of related work experience
  • Related Experience: athletics administration, ticketing, sales, marketing, and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a full menu of ticket inventory including securing season ticket sales and renewals from existing season ticket holders.
  • Initiate conversations with season ticket holders to encourage upgrades to existing packages or making new/additional donations to the annual fund.
  • Serve as personal customer service representative for assigned season ticket holders.
  • Answer donor questions regarding how to make a gift, current giving history, and engagement opportunities, etc.
  • Educate current and potential donors on priority point processes.
