About The Position

The Account Representative - Vehicle Refinish role is for the Eastern Tennessee market. This position serves as the frontline salesperson responsible for executing agreed-upon sales and profitability targets within the assigned sales area. This is achieved by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing customers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and work experience in the paints and coatings industry or any B2B industry environment.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in commercial roles, sales, and key account management, including sales to strategic accounts.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in business management or a related field.
  • Skills: Stakeholder management, project management, decision making, creating value propositions, drive, results orientation, customer service orientation, problem-solving, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen, basic understanding of cross-functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve.
  • Must be able to participate and complete a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test, and use a respirator as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters of Business Administration in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customers in a designated area to execute the sales plan.
  • Screen the customer base for new opportunities, generate leads, and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Provide appropriate and agreed-upon levels of contact, service, and support to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Monitor sales against agreed targets regularly, identify the need for remedial actions, and implement them.
  • Collect, report, and analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for market penetration.
  • Promote a positive company image and develop long-term customer relationships.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: $90,000 - $100,000
