About The Position

We are Pinnacle, an experiential marketing house comprised of strategists, creatives, and builders who are driven by a pursuit of innovation and excellence. We are recruiting for an Account Manager to support a team in our Raleigh, North Carolina location. The Account Managers are a vital part of every account team, supporting Account Directors and driving the internal communication necessary to produce amazing projects. This role functions as ground control, the hub of the bicycle wheel, and the primary manager of upward communication.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of current work experience in account management or account support in agency, tradeshow, or event execution industries.
  • Ability to organize and disseminate the details included in multiple large projects.
  • Once trained on our system, ability to show demonstrated mastery of working projects through it.
  • Experience coordinating logistics across multiple partners and venues with tight timelines.
  • Able to read construction drawings; familiarity with how things are built and construction techniques across a wide variety of materials.
  • Able to handle multiple projects with short turnaround times; requires self-direction, trust, and focus.
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.
  • Must enjoy being in a supportive role and be able to take the lead when needed.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the event and exhibit fabrication/trade show industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience working within an ERP, billing, quoting, and invoicing system; enjoys the details of keeping it all tidy.
  • Able to work long hours in order to get the projects done.

Nice To Haves

  • International event experience is helpful.
  • College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support one or more Account Directors in executing large scale events, activations and exhibits.
  • Coordinate and manage projects, including: quotes, design, client approval, kick-off meetings, detailing, graphics, production, shipping, on-site service needs and invoicing.
  • Act as an intermediary between the client and internal teams, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed to keep the project on track.
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in client meetings, including preparing meeting notes.
  • Communicate status updates and changes to the project team.
  • Coordinate, supply quotes, and track shipping and ship dates of projects.
  • Track and document changes/additions to projects.
  • Manage show services.
  • Travel as needed (10-20%).
