About The Position

Eagle Rock Distributing is one of Georgia's fastest growing wine and spirits wholesalers, and we're looking for an Account Manager who can move comfortably between two very different selling environments - a fast-paced rooftop bar in Buckhead on Tuesday, a grocery chain reset in Stockbridge on Wednesday - and win in both. This territory rewards versatility and offers a unique blend of high-end on-premise accounts in the urban core and significant growth potential in suburban retail. The ideal candidate is a hybrid seller, comfortable pitching wine directors and executing retail planogram resets, a hunter for new distribution, adept in high-volume accounts, a builder in growth markets, self-directed, and mobile with a valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record.

Requirements

  • A True Hybrid Seller: Equally comfortable pitching a wine director on a by-the-glass program and walking a grocery manager through a planogram reset.
  • A Hunter for New Distribution: Constantly identifying new points of distribution.
  • Comfortable in High-Volume, High-Energy Accounts: Able to build relationships with buyers who have limited time.
  • A Builder in Growth Markets: Opportunity to establish presence and grow footprint in expanding markets.
  • Self-Directed & Road-Ready: Ability to manage own route, time, and priorities.
  • Licensed & Mobile: A valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift at least 45 lbs and handle kegs up to 180 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Retail Distribution: Gain new points of distribution across grocery, package stores, and independent retail throughout South Atlanta, Fayetteville, and Stockbridge.
  • Win the On-Premise Trade: Build and maintain relationships with bars, restaurants, and hospitality groups across Downtown, Buckhead, and Midtown, securing by-the-glass placements, back-bar programs, and feature spots.
  • Manage a High-Visibility Territory: Balance urban on-premise accounts with suburban retail growth, prioritizing time and route to maximize impact across a wide-ranging book of business.
  • Execute Merchandising & Programming: Build displays, manage resets, and bring promotional programs to life at retail to make Eagle Rock brands stand out.
  • Stay Ahead of the Market: Understand market trends in Atlanta's on-premise scene and retail growth corridors to inform account strategies.
  • Represent a Best-in-Class Portfolio: Carry and promote respected wine and spirits brands, leveraging product knowledge to open and maintain accounts.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with operations, logistics, and marketing to ensure seamless execution from order to delivery to activation.
