About The Position

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the business by securing and managing the clients' overall annual marketing plan, coordinating marketing efforts with clients' internal stakeholders, and maintaining a database for all GSP products and services. This role involves inputting client orders with accuracy and timeliness, acting as a project manager to ensure execution at the store level, and providing local GSP customer service for the client. The Account Manager will also be responsible for providing reporting, including monthly reviews and meeting summaries for action, as well as preparing various reports such as projections, store and client visit recaps, and monthly order updates. Additionally, the role focuses on growing client relationships by representing the GSP suite of services to retail clients, communicating and building key relationships, coordinating regular meetings with clients and all stakeholders, and coordinating store rides with clients to relay learnings and ensure alignment. The ultimate goal is to grow the GSP business while advancing the client business plan.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • Two years experience in account management, retail and/or sales desired
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to balance hands-on order entry and database management
  • Project management skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to produce, create and place detailed orders
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop and give presentations
  • Knowledge of marketing and brand concepts, coordination, and implementation
  • Candidate must have valid driver's license
  • Able to commute within their metro area
  • Able to travel in the United States as needed
