About The Position

The Account Manager is a revenue driven sales professional responsible for aggressively growing existing accounts, identifying and closing new business opportunities, and expanding market share. This role owns a portfolio of clients and is expected to actively pursue upselling, cross selling, and new revenue streams while building strong, strategic relationships with decision makers. The Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor and business partner, relentlessly driving value, client retention, and sales performance. Working closely with internal teams, this position is accountable for delivering results, exceeding revenue targets, and uncovering opportunities that accelerate company growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-5 years of experience within the construction industry
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategy
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel, at times

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts to achieve sales goals
  • Communicate and market all services offerings, Traffic Control, Rentals, Product Sales and Engineering services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand account value
  • Develop customized proposals and presentations for clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, dispatch, operations, project management, estimating) to deliver solutions
  • Track account performance and provide regular updates to leadership
  • Resolve client issues promptly and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions
  • Participate in and join relevant industry committees or events to market the company offerings
  • Other duties as assigned
