About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Manager to join our team at Douce Agency. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day client service operations by assisting customers with policy servicing, account inquiries, and administrative support while helping maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience in a collaborative office environment. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or insurance-related role preferred.
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain an active Ohio insurance license required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage responsibilities, and work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver responsive, professional service while serving as a primary point of contact for clients by phone and in person.
  • Assist clients with policy information, coverage questions, payment processing, and policy change requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Investigate policy updates and communicate coverage changes clearly to ensure clients understand policy impacts and available options.
  • Obtain and maintain an active Ohio insurance license, with licensing support provided by the agency.
  • Answer and route incoming calls while maintaining a professional and welcoming client experience.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and scheduling activities to support office operations and client service needs.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and maintain organized client files, records, and documentation.
  • Support office operations by monitoring supplies, maintaining organization, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to support workflow efficiency, client retention, and service excellence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency procedures, professional standards, and compliance expectations.
