About The Position

Air Power, an industrial distributor with over 55 years of experience, is seeking an Account Representative to join their expanding team in 2025. The company specializes in providing process improvement solutions to manufacturers nationwide, including paint finishing systems, sealant/adhesive applications, fluid handling, assembly tools, industrial air tools, material handling, pneumatic motion components, automation, and robotics. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth in a dynamic industry with a focus on innovation and customer success.

Requirements

  • Recent graduates with degrees in engineering, industrial distribution, or business, especially those with mechanical savvy and a hunger for sales, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and expand a geographic sales territory.
  • Schedule appointments and visit manufacturing facilities to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Specify, demonstrate, and close sales for equipment, and oversee startups.
  • Lead high-impact sales demonstrations and support for the coverage area and key accounts.
  • Champion Air Power's core values: accountability, transparency, collaboration, process improvement, and peak performance.
  • Align actions with the strategic business plan to deliver unmatched value to customers.
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Manager to drive continuous improvement and profitability.
  • Invest in personal growth through targeted training and development.
  • Collaborate with Air Power Product Specialists to secure business across all expertise areas.
  • Regularly evaluate products and services, suggesting enhancements.
  • Nurture win-win partnerships with key suppliers for mutual, profitable growth.
