Piper Electric, a Crete United company, is experiencing tremendous growth and is searching for an experienced Account Manager for its PLANT AND FACILITIES operation. The ideal candidate is a steady, reliable individual with strong communication skills, high professional and personal ethics, and the ability and ambition to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.

Requirements

Solid industrial electrical experience.
Minimum 3 years in electrical construction, estimating, design/build and sales/marketing.
Minimum 2 years electrical construction sales experience.
Experience preparing and presenting project turnovers.
Conceptual design and estimating experience.
Engineering and design experience, including electrical layout and final design.
Strong aptitude for facilitating technical discussions with clients to ensure proper engineering data.
A professional and engaging personality.
A talent for detail and analysis.
Electrical design skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with technology such as MS Office, Accubid or equivalent.
Demonstrable negotiation skills.
Knowledge and understanding of National Electric Code.

Nice To Haves

JW license a plus.

Responsibilities

Network and create long-lasting relationships with new clients, existing clients, and vendors.
Prepare and present project turnovers.
Facilitate technical discussions with clients to ensure proper engineering data.
Represent Piper Electric at professional organizations and events.
Track material, labor, subcontractors, and rental costs to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
