About The Position

The Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, maximizing sales revenue, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. This role involves developing strategies for new business development, negotiating contracts, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams, maintain sales records, forecast future sales trends, and monitor market dynamics. Specific duties include managing customer accounts, quoting, continuous learning of technical skills related to ESPs, ESP system design, reviewing application designs, attending failure review meetings, and leading optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales, preferably a minimum of two years of ESP, artificial lift, or oilfield experience in a B2B environment, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ESP system design, using sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for sales management, reporting, and ESP system design.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and company priorities to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing clients by understanding their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
