About The Position

Responsible for the management of obtaining and processing customer orders and inquiries with the objective of maintaining a good customer service relationship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, advertising, marketing or other related courses.
  • Detail oriented and ability to manage multiple projects/accounts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Function independently with limited supervision in performing all job duties and responsibilities.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and time management skills to meet client needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to work with all levels of staff, management, and clients.
  • Experience in the manufacturing field.

Responsibilities

  • Answer calls from customers regarding inquiries or orders and enter all orders in AS400.
  • Answer all inquiries from customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist with client request or resolve escalated issues as needed.
  • Handle, maintain, and build lasting relationship with assigned territory/accounts.
  • Follow up with possible leads to obtain additional business.
  • Enter and issue new purchase orders.
  • Review complaints from customers and recommend corrective action.
  • Work with production scheduler to verify and ensure production schedule can meet requested delivery date. Along with client requesting earlier or delay in delivery.
  • Plan shipments, create, and provide shipping instructions to Shipping and QA department.
  • Schedule empty carrier return.
  • Provide mill certification and BOL to customer.
  • Review and assess shipment prices from previous day before issuing invoice to customer.
  • Enter data and print out New M-Spec Request Form
  • Review and verify the M-Spec sheet for correct size, grade, mill source, wire type, coating and coil weight.
  • Manage overall and storing inventory from order adjustments.
  • Maintain Rod Inventory. Verify the requested size, weight, grade of material was delivered in good condition.
  • Review open orders, assess past orders, and adjust transfer orders.
  • Maintain close relationship with outside sales.
  • Support Outside sales and accounting with pricing or invoice issues.
  • Answer and transfer company calls to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
