As an Account Manager on our Employee Benefits team, you’ll be at the heart of our client service team, managing a portfolio of accounts with diverse needs. You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure their insurance and risk management needs are met with care and precision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Producer's License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships.
  • Solid financial acumen.
  • Experience in account management or client service (insurance experience is a plus but not required).
  • Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion.
  • Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Works in a self-directed manner.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for your clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Lead the renewal process, collaborating with the production team to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Secure existing business and identify opportunities for growth by cultivating strong relationships with clients.
  • Directly contribute to client satisfaction, retention, and Gallagher’s reputation for excellence.
