The purpose of this job is to develop and provide focus on customer relationships, grow volume, manage attrition and respond to customers’ needs. This role involves growing and maintaining current customer volume through customer relationships and follow-through, generating referrals from base customers, and conducting in-person quarterly business reviews for top customers to drive increased volume. The Account Manager will identify base volume customers with growth potential, contact new base customers within 48 hours of account assignment to schedule a personal introduction, and perform volume usage analysis to increase domestic gallons. They will also provide solutions to ensure sales targets are not impacted and manage customer attrition by contacting customers with a significant decrease in weekly volume and scheduling visits as needed. Additional duties include customized customer reporting, customer support, education and training, managing sales activity in Salesforce, analyzing and providing pricing/payment terms, acting as a liaison with the Credit Department for collections, performing fraud review and recommendations, processing card issues, and reporting/analyzing KPIs. The role requires attending weekly sales meetings in person.
