About The Position

Lightspeed is seeking an Account Manager to join their Golf team in North America. The role involves managing a portfolio of golf course customers, helping them maximize value from the Lightspeed platform through increased product adoption, revenue growth, and ensuring long-term customer success. This is a relationship-driven position that combines consultative selling, customer success, and industry expertise to support golf courses across North America.

Requirements

  • Experience managing an extended and complete sales cycle.
  • Strong emphasis on ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Experience working with major corporations and maintaining SLAs.
  • Well versed on and passionate about the golf industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is strongly preferred.
  • Ideally located in Montreal, Quebec, but open to remote candidates within Canada and the US.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to customers to drive product usage and add-ons, expanding the use of Lightspeed Golf modules.
  • Identify and address churn risks, and ensure adoption of new product launches.
  • Ensure successful software utilization by defining success criteria with customers, with internal team support.
  • Serve as an escalation point for issues encountered by large customers.
  • Perform projects and initiatives to improve customer experience and increase CSAT.
  • Identify opportunities for reference accounts and marketing case studies.
  • Perform regular reporting on portfolio status and ensure high CSAT/NPS.
  • Stay updated on Lightspeed products, processes, and add-ons.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, flagging product requests to appropriate teams.
  • Participate in team/region-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide best practices to customers regarding POS and management.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Work with appropriate teams to develop and improve Customer Success and Account Management processes.
  • Conduct scope calls pre-sale to determine customer requirements and setup needs.
  • Contribute to organizational objectives, even if outside the strict scope of the role.
