About The Position

As an Account Manager, you'll play an important role in helping clients protect their businesses, assets, and financial well-being through responsive service and trusted insurance guidance. Your ability to build relationships, manage account needs, and deliver exceptional support helps strengthen client retention and contributes to the long-term success of both clients and the agency. In this role, you'll work closely with producers, underwriting partners, carriers, and clients to manage day-to-day service needs, maintain accurate coverage, and support renewal strategies. You'll become a trusted resource for clients by helping them navigate policy changes, identifying coverage opportunities, and ensuring their insurance programs continue to meet evolving needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Prior Property & Casualty insurance experience.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Working knowledge of Applied Epic or a comparable agency management system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to manage workload independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Experience supporting commercial or personal lines books of business in an agency environment.
  • Experience with policy remarketing, account rounding, and coverage reviews.
  • Established carrier and underwriting relationship management experience.
  • Demonstrated success supporting client retention and service excellence initiatives.
  • Additional insurance designations or commitment to pursuing professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming service requests, policy changes, renewals, and coverage inquiries while delivering exceptional client service.
  • Review existing policies and account activity to identify coverage gaps, available discounts, and opportunities for improved protection.
  • Evaluate insurance programs and recommend coverage adjustments that align with clients' changing needs.
  • Re-market and obtain alternative quotes when appropriate to help clients secure competitive and effective coverage solutions.
  • Partner with producers, underwriters, and carrier representatives to support account retention and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and policy records within the agency management system.
