Job Overview:
The Account Manager (AM) focuses on identifying and developing new product opportunities within the existing customer base. This role involves prospecting, presenting programs, and meeting sales quotas.

Requirements

• Must be customer oriented and able to communicate effectively
• Ability to provide a high quality service within a fast-paced and physically challenging environment
• Goal driven and self-motivated to include problem solving skills
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet)
• Valid Driver's License required

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s/Associates Degree preferred
• Prior experience in Route Sales and/or Business to Business (B2B) sales preferred

Responsibilities

• Penetrate the current customer base and generate revenue through additional category adds – Uniforms, Workplace Supplies, Managed Restroom Services, First Aid and Direct Sales.
• Focus on securing contract renewals.
• Document customer information, maintain sales reports, and communicate product details to the service department.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and identify new opportunities.
• Drive a systematic sampling program that leads to proposal generation.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to sell into the current customer base.
