Retains and continuously improves business with existing customers through business development, engineering, project management activities. Protects existing business through the development of long-term relationships with customers and suppliers. Learns internal process capabilities and current product portfolio. Works with segment manager/director, business development managers, and development engineers to identify new growth opportunities with existing customers. Works with Sourcing manager/director and Sourcing engineers to find cost competitive suppliers for outside sourced products. Provides oversight of existing performance with customers and initiates improvement through quality engineering, materials management, CI, & customer service teams. Budgeting & forecasting the cost and revenue of existing and new projects. Overall accountability for all projects including supporting other departments through product launch. Provide input in the business development team’s growth strategy (new & existing). Coordinates and executes in-person visits to customers, as well as customer visits to Lincoln Industries. Creates APQP checklist for new parts. Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers, by communicating openly, honestly and constructively, treating all employees with dignity, respect and courtesy. Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals. Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
