About The Position

Octagon is seeking an Account Manager to support sponsorship programs for their payment services client in the Latin American market. This role will focus on managing and activating sponsorships across Formula 1 and Esports within Latin America. The Account Manager will work alongside the Account Director as the day-to-day client lead, with property management oversight and plan activation programs. Responsibilities include supporting client consulting services, activation concept development, implementation, and program measurement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in a traditional sponsorship marketing role; agency experience preferred.
  • Bilingual and can speak, read, and write in Spanish and English.
  • Understand the cultural nuances of the Latin American region and apply that knowledge to advise clients accordingly.
  • Proven experience managing sports, entertainment, or gaming partnerships, ideally F1 or Esports.
  • Strong understanding of sports & entertainment passion territories, especially as it relates to Latin America.
  • Natural communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Requires travel (approximately 30% travel), work weekends, and untraditional hours.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture and cultivate relationships with current clients.
  • Support the development of bespoke sponsorships presentations to educate/advise the region & maximize partnership value and activation.
  • Lead the planning, management, and execution of sponsorship activations across F1 and Esports.
  • Anticipate industry trends, compile insights and research, and provide competitive analysis/point of views.
  • Cultivate & manage relationships with outside vendors and properties.
  • Produce written communications for clients, including event reports, case studies, competitive reports, etc.
  • Master property guidelines and sponsorship assets to advise the Latin American marketing clients.
  • Support strategy development and client recommendations aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage on-site logistics, including event staffing, creative asset delivery, and post-event recaps.
  • Oversee budget tracking, invoicing, and vendor coordination.
