DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW Local Corporate Sponsorship supports CAI, the Cape and Islands NPR station, by generating revenue through partnerships with local businesses and organizations. The department secures sponsorship across CAI’s broadcast and digital platforms in alignment with public media values and guidelines. The team focuses on building long‑term, relationship‑driven sponsorships that support CAI’s local journalism, programming, and service to the Cape, Coast, and Islands. Local Corporate Sponsorship works to deliver effective, well‑executed campaigns while maintaining CAI’s strong credibility in the community. JOB OVERVIEW The Account Executive, Local Corporate Sponsorship is responsible for generating and growing sponsorship revenue in support of CAI, the Cape and Islands NPR station. This role manages a portfolio of existing sponsors while placing a strong emphasis on new business development and re-engagement of lapsed accounts. The Account Executive serves as both a sales professional and a community ambassador for one of the region’s most trusted local media institutions, deeply rooted in the Cape, Coast, and Islands communities. Note: This position offers a base salary plus commission.
