About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions, a leading management company in the building maintenance industry, is seeking an Account Manager (Facility Solutions Manager) for its Fort Wayne, IN franchise location. The primary responsibilities of this role involve providing solutions to client facility issues within an assigned territory, fostering long-term relationships with clients and contractors to ensure high client satisfaction, and contributing to the company's mission of building environments that elevate people.

Requirements

  • 3-5 plus years of sales and management experience in building maintenance, facility management, or equivalent.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive and outgoing personality; skilled at building relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and strong written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM databases.
  • Must have reliable transportation and active insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
  • Route-based experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of client relationships with a focus on retention.
  • Oversee contractor (IC) relations, ensure compliance, and manage removal/replacement as needed. Participate in monthly IC paydays.
  • Negotiate agreements with clients for additional services, including determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Conduct detailed quality control inspections of client sites and ensure consistent follow-through based on the statement of work.
  • Supervise and direct Account Compliance Managers to ensure client strategy execution and correct service performance by assigned contractors.
  • Maintain updated and current client documentation.
  • Effectively communicate client issues to contractors and develop/implement plans with the team to resolve feedback or deficiencies, monitoring compliance.
  • Coordinate with accounting regarding discrepancies on client accounts.
  • Utilize City Wide's CRM to document client inspections, add extra charges, and manage ACM routing.
