About The Position

IKM Building Solutions is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their team in Madison, Wisconsin. This full-time role involves managing and growing a portfolio of commercial and manufacturing clients, identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling, promoting renewable service agreements, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, track opportunities in CRM, maintain account plans, and represent IKM at industry events. The position reports to the Service Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in construction, mechanical systems, or related industries
  • Ability to read construction drawings and P&IDs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time and territory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed
  • Must be comfortable working in varied job site conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and travel regularly to client locations

Nice To Haves

  • COINS and SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
