About The Position

The Account Manager supplies products, trains customers, demonstrates offerings, and provides service to automotive and industrial clients in Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, and Montana. This role involves managing sales orders, customer interactions, and ensuring client satisfaction through product knowledge and service.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing sales orders, scheduling calls to deliver orders, and addressing equipment requirements.
  • Regularly visiting current and prospective customers to solicit in-person sales.
  • Promptly communicate completed sales invoices to the corporate office.
  • Performing daily inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards.
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels to effectively service assigned accounts and prevent back-orders.
  • Reporting all daily activities using company-provided tools.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Demonstrating equipment, diagnosing issues, and determining whether problems are user-related or mechanical. Preparing documentation and coordinating repairs with relevant departments as necessary; conducting minor field repairs when appropriate.
  • Securing management approval for all equipment installations or placements.
  • Showcasing products through samples or catalogs, gathering data on new and existing customers, and facilitating training sessions on products and equipment.
  • Monitoring stock and marketing materials, handling return requests, obtaining managerial approvals, and managing pickups and credit transactions efficiently.
  • Assisting with sales reporting to evaluate the ROI of loaned equipment, developing action plans as needed, and investigating customer issues including payment concerns.
