About The Position

As a full-time Account Manager with EKG Security, you'll oversee a team of dedicated security officers and ensure they do an amazing job for our clients. This supervisory role requires high-level decision-making and problem-solving skills, as your efforts will directly impact our day-to-day operations and team's success. YOUR SCHEDULE Typical work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. However, you must be available to support employees as needed after hours and during weekends.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Armed Instructor in compliance with state licensing requirements - NON-NEGOTIABLE
  • Proven supervisory experience demonstrating discretion, sound judgement, and independent decision-making abilities
  • Physical ability to climb stairs, patrol properties on foot, work in various weather conditions, and stand/walk for extended periods (occasionally exceeding 8 hours)
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, smartphones, two-way radios, and other electronic communication devices
  • Proficiency in site-specific security operations and software
  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Armed license
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Ability to complete EKG Security Site Supervisor training
  • Ability to learn and use the Paychex Flex system, including the Time and Attendance functions

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing our uniformed security team and daily operations to ensure we provide high-quality services and to support business profitability
  • Coordinating the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security personnel
  • Conducting regular quality assurance inspections to measure officers' performance
  • Ensuring all team members comply with contractual requirements, including screening and training protocols
  • Assisting with client communication, customer service, and vital administrative functions (payroll, incident reporting, fleet coordination, etc.)
  • Reviewing coverage needs and making operational adjustments as needed to keep staffing levels adequate
  • Independently investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions or preventative measures
  • Making recommendations for hiring, discipline, and termination decisions, escalating issues as needed
  • Notifying management about significant incidents or operational changes
  • Maintaining a safe, comfortable and harassment-free workplace
  • Reviewing and approving bi-weekly time cards and attendance records
  • Approving time-off requests
  • Tracking overtime and ensuring compliance with guidelines
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations, identifying employee strengths, and providing constructive feedback
