About The Position

The Account Manager will serve to set the overall strategy and objectives for the business related to Nidec Drives products in the HVAC and Refrigeration Market. This position requires a strategic mindset, deep industry knowledge, and a strong ability to collaborate across various functions to develop and execute effective market strategies. The Market Manager's primary responsibility is expanding current business with the key customer accounts while driving total customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business is required
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • English is required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand existing business with Tier 1 & Tier 2 accounts
  • Develop understanding of Regional Market and identify new target customers
  • Extract key insights for future customer development and go-to-market strategies to support the business strategic initiatives and drive growth
  • Push the strategy in to the Regional Sales Directors & Area Sales Managers with the support of the regional General Manager
  • Meet with key account customers with the HVACR group to improve relationships on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in developing marketing plans with specific objectives for the HVACR market segment
  • Maintain and update a sales “Tool Box” including marketing tools, training, appliation specific product information, pricing, playbook
  • Liaison between customer demands and plant demands.
  • Manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues with key customer accounts
  • Process and organize customer quotations and inquiries.
  • Process credits and RMA’s accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain customer files and data including pricing, contracts, profiles, and open / closed customer orders and requests
  • Actively acquire and help maintain product and system knowledge and updates in Salesforce.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across Oracle and Salesforce
  • Assists in the annual budget preparation
